As you progress in your recovery, more sophisticated apps are available to help you regain more advanced speech. Aphasia therapy is simple AAC app to get you started. The App is very similar to flashcards except its not stock common words but the words that are most important to you!

The Aphasia Therapy app is a ground-breaking tool for helping people who have Aphasia regain their ability to say the words that are important to them. The app can be filled with pictures of all the important things in their life -- pictures of friends, relatives, their favorite foods and place they like to go!

Through a guided repetition process similar to flashcards, the user can practice saying their words. The process for adding a picture is simple. You either take a picture with the camera or use one that youve already taken and then give it a name. After giving it a name, you record audio of someone properly saying the word and then you select which album it goes in.
